David Segall releases new single to support Habitat for Humanity

"Fire Woman is the newest release from Santa Barbara soul & roots rocker David Segall. The song was written and recorded in Santa Barbara, and features notable SB musicians Austin Beede (drums), Joshua Jones (bass), Philippo Franchini (guitar) and Angus Cooke (cello). David also enlisted the help of a distant cousin in Italy, world-class violinist Ilaria Gianfagna, who recorded the violin for the song out of her studio in Sicily. The song was completed shortly before the Thomas Fire swept through Ventura and Santa Barbara county. In response to the tragic events of the fire and the subsequent debris flow, David was inspired to raise funds for our local chapter of Habitat for Humanity by donating half the proceeds from every download of Fire Woman directly to their relief work.
